Hour meter:

The TimeLog operates on supply voltages from 9-28V DC (29-80V DC optional) and has two hour meter inputs. When a current 4-28V DC is detected alternatively removed from the inputs the hour meter starts. Current values are saved in a non volatile memory.

Alarm inputs:

The unit is equipped with three alarm inputs which can be connected to various sensors. The inputs could generate alarms for e.g. low oil pressure, high water temperature etcetera.

Relay outputs:

The TimeLog has two relay outputs which can be controlled from a service computer or a mobile phone.

Reading the hour meter:

The hour meter can be read by sending an SMS or an email to the machine. The unit will reply with a message containing information about accumulated meter value and duration to the next service interval (presented in hours and percent).

Service interval:

The TimeLog is able to call for maintenance when the hour meter reaches a certain time. The service interval settings can be sent in a message to the unit.

When the hour meter reaches the set interval the unit can send an alarm to a mobile phone or a service computer. The service computer can relay the alarm to the parties concerned e.g. via an e-mail containing information about the machine object.

The service message contains information about accumulated meter time and service interval. When maintenance is carried out, the interval meter may be reset.

PC-Programme:

A specially developed PC-programme is available, in which rental machines can be stored as objects, with accompanying information and phone number.

The programme can be configured for automatic reading of the hour meter at a set interval. A file can also be generated with object number and current operation time. The file can be used as a basis for invoicing.

The programme is also able to receive alarms and relay to the parties concerned, e.g. via email. The programme can be installed on a PC equipped with a GSM-modem.

Positioning:

The TimeLog can be positioned via the GSM-network.
