SMS Transceiver V3

The SMS Transceiver V3 is the successor of ComLink's SMS Transceiver, which has been on the market a number of years. With several new features and settings, the unit is a competent alarm transmitter with a broad area of use.

The SMS Transceiver V3 is developed to be used as a GSM-based alarm transmitter or for operations monitoring. The unit is simple to install and easy to use.

The SMS Transceiver V3 is able to send alarm messages via SMS to mobile phones emergency centres et cetera. Equipment connected to the units relay outputs can be remotely controlled via SMS or phone call.


Inputs:

The unit is equipped with six alarm inputs which can be connected to both N/O and N/C sensors as well as a voltage output 4-28V DC. The inputs can generate alarms both when triggered and when returning to their normal state i.e. when voltage is applied and when the voltage disappears.

The inputs have two alarm modes. Block time to prevent repeated alarms and activation delay to set the time an input needs to be triggered before sending an alarm.

Each input can generate two SMS to two recipients when current is applied and when current disappears. The unit can also make a call to the SMS recipients to attract further attention.


Outputs:

The SMS Transceiver has two relay outputs which are operated by SMS or a free call. This function can be used to remotely control a pump, ventilation, a heater et cetera. The relays are for low current, max 1A at 24V.


Configuration:

All settings are easily made in the PC-programme. SMS Transceiver V3 Config Tool can be ordered free of charge.

Several settings can also be done via SMS. Current configuration and status for the unit can be retrieved via SMS.


Miscellaneous:

An access list of up to 238 numbers ensure that only authorised personnel may remotely control the unit.

The SMS Transceiver V3 can be equipped with an internal battery back-up. With this option installed, the external power supply will be monitored. SMS alarms can be sent in event of external power failure and when the power returns.
