The CL520 V3: GSM-based security system - New version

The CL 520 is ideal for the surveillance of objects without a land line or existing alarm system. Such objects could be holiday homes, houses, boats, caravans, motorhomes, containers, maintenance vehicles, etc.

Operation:

Functions are controlled through a call or a text message to the built- in mobile phone in the CL520. For normal use, the alarm function is activated and deactivated through a call to the unit. The unit compares the number calling (using caller display) to the internal access list, and then disconnects the call, making the call completely free of charge. The alarm system can be equipped with a “key ring” remote control as an option.

5 alarm zones:

The CL520 has inputs for five separate alarm zones; each zone can be individually configured for the type of sensor (N/O or N/C). Once the alarm function has been activated, each zone can generate four individual SMS messages to four different recipients, this means that a triggered alarm can, for example, generate an SMS message in plain text to the client as well as a coded message linked to an emergency service centre. All sensors with breaking (N/C) or closing (N/O) circuits available on the market can be connected to the unit. A regulated 12V power outputs supplies active
sensors such as motions sensors etc.

2 event controlled relay outputs:

The CL520 has two relay outputs (max. 1A at 24V), which are automatically activated by an event or remotely controlled through SMS messages sent to the unit. Examples of events are: exceeded temperature limit, activation / deactivation of alarm or effected alarm zone. Only users that are included in the access list can control the functions in the unit, all others are ignored. There is also an output for an external status LED.

2 temperature sensors:

The CL520 has two user programmable temperature sensors.
Upper / lower temperature limit, hysteresis, filter times etc. are set using the Config Tool och via SMS. Heating / Cooling units can be controlled via the relays in accordance with set temperature limits.

Siren output:

The unit has an output for an optional external siren (max. 500mA) and is fitted with an internal siren (buzzer) on the motherboard.

Integrated battery back-up:

An external battery back-up can be connected and is maintenance-charged through an internal charge controller to ensure longevity and problem-free operation. An alert via an SMS message will be sent if the battery power falls below 11 Volts, ideal for ensuring that lead-acid batteries (e.g. in caravans or boats) are not damaged by over-drainage.
 
Monitored power supply:

The CL 520 continuously monitors the power supply (230 V) and notifies via an SMS message when there is a power failure and when the power returns.

Programming:
All settings are easily done, with the help of the accompanying PC software.
Most settings can also be made via SMS.
